Get Ready to Smile Again!
It is God’s will for you to be extremely happy! It doesn’t matter what you’ve been through or what you’re currently facing — happiness is your inheritance.
Take a look at this powerful scripture:
“And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with singing, With everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”— Isaiah 35:10
Did you know that you are the ransomed of the Lord? Jesus literally saved you from eternal destruction. Zion represents the blessings of God—and through Christ, you have come to Zion. That’s the place of joy, peace, and overflowing goodness.
That means, of all people, you should be the happiest! You have every reason to be singing and rejoicing. So let me remind you: It’s time to SMILE AGAIN!
But how do we get there? Here are three powerful steps to help you start smiling again:
1. Dream Again.
Many have stopped dreaming because of past failures or disappointments. Maybe things didn’t turn out the way you expected. But hear this today: Give yourself permission to dream again.
C.S. Lewis once said, “You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.”
So dream big. Dream bold. Dream like nothing is holding you back—because God is with you. Your future is still bright!
2. Love Again.
Some hearts have grown cold because of pain and betrayal. But Jesus warned us, “…the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:12). If that’s you, it’s time to turn things around.
Let go of unforgiveness. Release bitterness. You weren’t designed to carry that weight. You were made to love people deeply—and that’s where your peace and joy are found. 🕊️
Holding grudges weakens your spirit, but love strengthens you from the inside out. So take a deep breath, and choose to love again.
3. Sing Again.
What’s the first thing birds do when they wake up? They sing. That’s how God made them—and you’re no different.
Psalm 100:3 says, “Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing.” And since God’s Spirit lives inside you, His presence is always with you.
That means you can rejoice anywhere, anytime. No wonder Paul said, “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!” (Philippians 4:4)
Singing lifts your spirit. Rejoicing stirs up joy. And before long, you’ll find yourself smiling again — because joy can’t help but show on your face.
