The House of Jesus

The House of Jesus

I absolutely love the book of Hebrews! So much so, I’ve committed to reading it over and over again this year. Every time I open its pages, I’m captivated and awakened to deeper truths. One revelation that’s been burning in my heart is this: We are the HOUSE of JESUS!

In Hebrews, the apostle Paul draws a powerful comparison between Moses and Jesus. Moses was faithful as a servant in God’s house, but Jesus? He’s the Son—faithful over His own house. That’s us! Let’s unpack this life-changing truth:

1. Jesus is the Builder of His House.

Remember what Jesus told Peter?
“…on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18).

What a promise! Jesus Himself is building us—His church—and He guarantees that the enemy has no power to destroy us. That means we’re not just any house… we are the victorious house of the Lord! Built by Christ, backed by Heaven, and destined to overcome. Defeat is not our story—victory is!

2. Jesus Is Faithful to His House.

Here’s some good news: Jesus is representing you right now before the Father! Just like Moses stood in the gap for Israel, Jesus continually intercedes for us as our great High Priest.

“Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25).

Think about that—Jesus is praying for YOU. He’s speaking on your behalf, celebrating you, covering you, providing for you, protecting you. He’s not distant; He’s devoted. Heaven hears your name because Jesus is faithful to His house… and that house is YOU.

3. We Have Become Partakers of Christ.

The Complete Jewish Bible says it this way:
“For we have become sharers in the Messiah…” (Hebrews 3:14).

That means we’re not just followers—we’re partakers! Joined to Him in spirit, we share in His nature, His inheritance, His victory. He lives in us, and we live in Him. We are one with Christ—bone of His bone, flesh of His flesh. That’s not just poetic; it’s supernatural reality. And we need a supernatural revelation to truly grasp it.

Let this truth sink in: What belongs to Jesus now belongs to us. Grace, glory, authority, inheritance—it’s all in the house. His house. Our house. The House of Jesus!

Let’s stay passionate, stay planted, and stay in awe of Jesus.
