Heaven Wants This From You…

It was 2022, and it was a Saturday, a day my family and I normally run errands and tried to hang out later in the day. On this particular Saturday, while I was taking a shower, the Holy Spirit reminded me of a dream I had several years earlier.

In the dream, I saw myself excitedly collecting as many sneakers as I could. When I woke up, I actually got out of bed looking for my sneakers, only to realize it was just a dream. As I laid back down thinking about it, I heard these words: “Heaven is not concerned with sneakers.”

In that moment, the Lord revealed to me that Heaven is far more focused on winning the souls of mankind. As I stood in the shower, recalling the dream, I prayed and asked the Lord to lead me to win a soul that day.

After finishing my shower, I got dressed, went downstairs, and ran some errands. When I returned, I ran into my neighbor. We started talking, and as we spoke, I knew in my spirit that this was the person God wanted me to reach. As the conversation unfolded, I found a way to share the gospel with him. To my surprise, he was interested in hearing what I had to say. We continued talking, and I offered to lead him in the sinner’s prayer. He agreed, and we prayed together. By the end of that prayer, he was born again, a new creation. Every sin was wiped away. Hallelujah!

Just as I did, you too can pray and ask God to help you share the gospel and win souls. Ask the Lord to lead you to someone who needs to hear the good news. Pray for His favor, so that the person’s heart will be open to what you share. Don’t stop there. Pray for the salvation of your loved ones, friends, neighbors, and anyone else in need of salvation. In addition, call on the ministering spirits, God’s angels, to help you in the work of soul-winning. Don’t be afraid of rejection, and don’t shrink back. The Lord is with you to help you reach and transform lives.
