Loving What God has for You
I love what God has for me. I love my calling as a pastor of God’s people. I love teaching and preaching His Word. I love receiving prophetic dreams that I receive for myself and others. I love seeing the supernatural provision He has for me showing up in my life. And the list goes on.
But here’s the question that will unlock the next level of your life: Do you love what the Father has for YOU?
You may ask, “What does He have for me?” The truth is—He has so much for you. He has a calling for you. He has family and friends He wants you to be in fellowship with. He has career moves He wants you to make. And the list goes on.
David is one of the greatest biblical examples of someone who loved what the Father had for him. He didn’t run from it. He didn’t despise it. He embraced it with passion. He loved being a psalmist and king. He loved being a warrior and a leader of his armies. He passionately loved his family. His heart for God’s plan explodes through the scriptures:
“O Lord, You are the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You maintain my lot. The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance.” - Psalm 16:5-6
“The king shall have joy in Your strength, O Lord; And in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! You have given him his heart’s desire, And have not withheld the request of his lips.” - Psalm 21:1-2
When you start loving what God has for you, your whole life changes. Joy rises. Gratitude increases. Peace floods in. And you begin to walk in a rhythm of grace and fulfillment that can only come from embracing Heaven’s plan for your life.
